Briners Choice anhydrous calcium chloride pellets are white, free-flowing pellets manufactured according to FDA current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements, and are Kosher certified and Halal compliant. Each shipment includes a Certificate of Analysis, making this a trusted choice for applications where product purity and documentation matter.
With calcium chloride content greater than 93% and calcium content greater than 33.6%, Briners Choice is intended for use in solution form after dissolving in potable water. Primary applications include food processing (brining, shelf-life extension, and texture maintenance) and refrigeration, where it serves as a secondary coolant for ice rinks and other low-temperature systems. As a high-purity calcium chloride pellet, it can also be used for general de-icing and snow/ice removal where a food-grade or higher-documentation product is preferred.
Packaged in a 50 lb bag with 55 bags per pallet, Briners Choice has a 36-month shelf life when stored dry and protected from moisture, and can be stored outdoors on well-drained surfaces if palletized with an intact plastic shroud, or indoors/under waterproof covering otherwise.
